What it does
Allows you to search shortcuts native and custom Excel shortcuts and optionally run them.  The searchable list can be updated with the Bulk Edit Search Shortcuts macro.

When to use it
When you can’t remember the shortcut for an Excel action or want to find one you aren’t familiar with.

Why to use it
It’s a quick way to find and run Excel keyboard shortcuts using an autocomplete search box.

Prerequisites
Depending on the shortcut you are looking for or to run, select any sheets, cells, objects, etc. you might need to work with.

Instructions
Once ready, run the Search Shortcuts macro.  It will display an auto-complete search box.  Your most recent 10 searches are displayed by default.  Enter 2+ characters to start searching.  You can also search for multiple partial words – just enter at least 2 characters for each word.  Press the up and down arrow keys to see details for the search results – the shortcut keys, category, and action/description.  With one of the search results selected, press the Enter key to run the shortcut.

The list of searchable keyboard shortcuts can be updated using the Bulk Edit Search Shortcuts macro.  Use it to add custom shortcuts or others that are not standard.
