CPE Administrative Policies

Program Registration and Attendance Requirements

We offer a combination of group live (in-person) and group internet based programs.  For programs open to the public, attendees can register and pay online on the events page of our website or linked third-party websites.  For programs delivered privately to teams, attendees can be registered in bulk in advance and a designated person within the organization will schedule the session date(s), time(s), and location(s), and share these details via a meeting invitation to attendees (or we will send the meeting invitation to the provided attendees).

Program attendance shall be monitored using a live polling solution, which tracks the start and end of attendance, as well as engagement throughout. The polling solution is linked to our event management system, which tracks participants’ names, email addresses, and CPE hours granted. Attendees must respond to a minimum number of polls to receive CPE credit. The number of polls corresponds to the number of CPE credits issued, at a minimum rate of three polling questions per 1 CPE credit hour.

Refund Policy

The Company offers programs over virtual meeting platforms and on-site, generally at the offices or operating locations of a hosting organization (the “host”), which is usually the employer of the program participants, a fundraising entity, or another third party.  Some programs are complimentary and used for marketing purposes.

For programs paid for by a hosting organization for the benefit of multiple attendees, a refund will be issued if a written request is received prior to 14 days before the scheduled program start date. If cancelling within 14 days prior to the program start date, no refund will be issued, however the payment can apply toward a rescheduled program, subject to a 20% rescheduled program, subject to a 20% rescheduling fee.

For programs where individual attendees register and pay for the program, registration and refunds will be handled through our events portal or a third party. If cancelling 14 or more days before the program start date, attendees can receive a full refund.  If cancelling within 7-14 days prior to the program start date, attendees can receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee.  If cancelling within 7 days of the program start date, no refund is offered, but the attendee’s registration fee can be used to apply toward a future program date.  No-shows will not be refunded for their registration fees.

In the rare occasion that the Company is unable to hold one or more scheduled programs, the Company will work directly with the host and/or individual attendees to determine a reasonable resolution, generally resulting in a rescheduled program.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

Programs that are cancelled by the host for privately-held programs can be rescheduled for up to one year from the date that payment was made in full. If a program must be rescheduled within 14 days of the scheduled program start date, a 20% rescheduling fee will apply. For certain out-of-town engagements, rescheduled programs may be subject to further restrictions or rescheduling fees. For such situations, please reach out to us using the contact information below.

In the rare occasion that a program must cancelled or rescheduled by the Company, the Company will contact the host as soon as practical to arrange a rescheduled date, within one year of the cancelled program date.

The Company will work with the host contact to ensure that all attendees are notified as soon as possible following the cancellation/reschedule, generally via email or host’s internal communication system.
