XLEV8 EXCEL PRODUCT MANUAL
TOGGLE HIDDEN SHEETS
Details
What it does
Creates a hidden sheet that captures any hidden sheets so that you can easily toggle them to be visible, hidden, or very hidden (only exposable via VBA) in one bulk step. It can hide or unhide all the sheets in the workbook in one step.
When to use it
When you have several hidden sheets and want to quickly make them visible and also quickly be able to hide the same sheets again.
Why to use it
It’s a super quick and easy way to toggle the visibility of sheets in one or more workbooks, retaining a list of sheets to toggle in the background. Being able to hide the same sheets again instead of needing to select them one by one can save a lot of time.

Instructions
Prerequisites
Hide the sheets throughout your workbook that you’d like to be able to toggle on/off in one step.
Instructions
With the sheets hidden per the prerequisites above, run the Toggle Hidden Sheets macro. It will list any hidden sheets in your active workbook in a hidden sheet called Toggle_Hidden_Sheets. Run the Toggle Hidden Sheets macro again to unhide all the sheets in the active workbook. Run it to hide the same sheets again.
To make any changes to the sheets that can be easily toggled on/off, you have two options:
Hide any sheets you want to be able to easily toggle to visible, hidden, or very hidden (only exposable via this macro or VBA). Run the Toggle Hidden Sheets macro and click the Refresh button to capture the revised list of hidden sheets. Note that this will overwrite the list.
Unhide the Toggle_Hidden_Sheets sheet and make the changes yourself, then hide the sheet again.
