Run the Search Recent Files macro. It will prompt you with a search form offering you suggestions of recently used files as you type. Use the up and down arrows (or click with the mouse) to select a suggested file and insert the entire file path in the search box. When the entire file path is in the search box, press the Enter key to open the file.
Press the Escape key to clear the search box. If the search box is empty when you press the Escape key, the search box will close. You can also clear the search box by pressing the X icon to the right of the search box.
You can optionally select how many months of recent files to search through. The default is 12 months. If you change this value, it will be saved for future use.
There are three icons to the right of the search box that will sort the search results either ascending, descending, or in the order they were saved. Records are updated in the list as they are saved with the date modified and file size.
To remove a saved record from the list, click the Remove record button. To reset the list and remove all saved records from the list, click the Remove all records button.
