Instructions
Prerequisites
Select the top-left cell in a simple pivot-style layout where there are row and column fields displayed. The header for the column fields should be displayed on the top line of the cell, and the header for the row fields should be displayed on the bottom line of the cell (see the first screenshot below). To insert a new line within the cell, click Alt+Enter. If the selected cell does not have two lines, you will receive an error message.
Instructions
With the cell selected that you want to format, run the Split Corner Header macro. It will align the top row to the right side of the cell by adding a sufficient number of spaces before the header label. It will also apply a diagonal border to the cell to indicate which header relates to the columns, and which header relates to the rows.
Note that if you update the content or column width of the header cell, the alignment will not automatically update. To update it, remove the leading spaces on the top row and run the Split Corner Header macro again.
