Excel Push-up Challenge Template
Summary
Have you ever heard of the push-up challenge? Neither had I until someone recently shared it with me. It’s really basic – each day you do the number of push-ups corresponding with the day of the year. January 1 – do 1 push-up. January 31 – do 31 push-ups. June 30 – do 181 push-ups. By December 31, you’re doing 365 push-ups!
While you’re free to do more than minimum (at least at the beginning of the year!), if you did exactly the number of each day, you’d do 66,795 push-ups in one year, an average of 183 a day! It’s a great way to build up some endurance and strength, no matter what type of exercise you’re doing.
To track my progress, I put together an Excel template that shows the number of push-ups each day and how many were actually done, as well as accumulating them. I used some of the dynamic array functions I’ve used to build this super-quickly. Grab a free copy you can use with the small form below.
